skypotato has connected.
Ganaroth has connected.
vonel has connected.
vonel: hello
=^v^=: yo
=^v^=: are you coocked?
=^v^=: cooked/whatever
=^v^=: it's hot
Ganaroth: extremely kooked.
vonel: have ac in my bed room and fans everywere else, so it's not to bad in here.
=^v^=: also did you ever end up playing world of final fantasy?
vonel: nope
Ganaroth: I think that I'm slowly but surely making my way through the back 10% of Sturgeon's Law anime. I have no real way of knowing, though. At any moment, the current of decent shows keeping me afloat might become a waterfall that I'm tumbling over. There are ways to estimate how much decent material there is left, but they involve math that is harder than I have ever known how to do.
Ganaroth: So far I've kept finding what I think of as pretty good ones, but who knows, maybe this one is the last?
=^v^=: jujutsu kaisen s2 ep 1 dropped like today or yesterday
Ganaroth: ...if nothing else, it's getting harder to find clues pointing me to the good stuff, but I think that's more because I've tapped out the last few years, and anything before that doesn't have nearly as much of a footprint online.
Ganaroth: Neat.
Ganaroth: Mushoku Tensei S2E0 dropped last week too.
=^v^=: also thefuck? fhere is a new ruroni kenshin?
Ganaroth: Yeah, I heard something about that.
Ganaroth: Though I still think the Suicide Squad Isekai has it beat for thefuck value.
=^v^=: know what would be horrible? Outlaw star season 2
=^v^=: sucide squad iseakai done by the re-zero guys no less
=^v^=: which makes me go, "Hmm, what about re-zero?"
Ganaroth: Yeah. I can't remember, is it out? If so, I should probably prepare for a fucking acid trip in the near future.
vonel: I don't know, Genesis of Aquarion getting two sequal shows was pretty thefuck
=^v^=: irregular of demonl lord acadame season 2 was another "But the story ended?" thing
Ganaroth: "But everyone has been covered in wax for like two years! How can they still be alive?"
=^v^=: oh also
=^v^=: another sequl coming out that's insane
=^v^=: they are making moe naruto
=^v^=: except
=^v^=: pre-timesqkip naruto
Ganaroth: "86" had one of those very rare endings that both feels reasonably complete and allows for further story. To my understanding it is getting another season, and I'll happily watch, but I also wouldn't be hugely sad otherwise. Nice trick to pull, if you can.
=^v^=: gwitch is getting another season I think? since like, it's gunpal is super popular
Ganaroth:
=^v^=: pre-timeskip naruto filler arc
=^v^=: which, to be fair, the one of those they did in boruto where he teleported back in time to pre-timeskip narutoland wasn't bad
Ganaroth: I am aware. there were like 80 fucking filler episodes between the end of manga part 1 and part 2, and everyone thought that was the devil. So, yeah, sure, let's make literally more of that. The Boruto one wasn't terrible, but we are in the small minority of people who tend to compare it favorably to the source material.
=^v^=: I liked how they were all, "Oh shit, the cuddly ball of fox-shaped energy was actually a bairly contained eldrich abomination back in the day!"
Ganaroth: Eh, not enough emotional attachment to narutoverse to really remember what you mean, sorry.
Riot has connected.
Ganaroth: Heyo.
=^v^=: oh rioto
vonel: hey
=^v^=: the part where boruto flashed back to when narurto's possessd by tailed beast was actually a bad berserk mode not just super sayan 2
Riot: hi hi. Sorry, that took longer than expected. Though I'm honestly surprised I decided to expend the energy after spending the entire day in 110 degree heat lol
=^v^=: you shoud not spend time in 110 degree heat it's bad
Ganaroth: Yeah, that's a rookie move.
Ganaroth: (memories of getting heatstroke in kindergarten repeatedly flood back into my poor, ravaged brain.)
Riot: lol if only my job did not require it
=^v^=: rise up overthrow all bosses etc
=^v^=: get dr note that says you are made of flesh and blood
Ganaroth: Just tell them no. What are they gonna do, shoot you? That was a joke. A bad one, but a joke nonetheless.
Riot: lmao
Riot: I mean we do ground runs and maintenance test flights on our helicopters. And we live in Vegas so it's very hot
Ganaroth: Yeah, my last memory of vegas was something like 114.
=^v^=: I drove past vegas, I think I stopped in reno, was not worth i t
Ganaroth: I psychologically can't gamble, so Vegas is mostly a wasted experience on me.
Riot: There's a lot more to it but I don't blame you
Ganaroth: I know there is. I've done fun stuff in Vegas too, but everywhere anyone has ever taken me has either been casino or casino-adjacent, so I naturally have a skewed view of the matter. And then since all the things that I actually kinda like are walled behind large crowds, loud noises, and flashing lights, all of which send my anxiety skyrocketing, and even those things acquire a sour tinge.
Riot: Yep, entirely valid honestly. My friends visited a couple weeks ago and I could only do one thing a night and not for very long
Ganaroth: There's that whole line about how some people have to travel for work, while some people get to travel for work, right? I think Vegas might work like that. Some people get to visit Vegas, etc...
Riot: Yeah fair
Ganaroth: But then, I've heard some people's thoughts about pacNW culture that were really surprising. Insiders and outsider always see different things regardless. Welp, anything interesting been going on?
Riot: Not really! Just set some Thai red chicken curry to start
Riot: You?
=^v^=: the west coast had basically hazardous air for the 4th apperenty
Ganaroth: No curry here, more's the pity. I've just been existing as an entirely material, and thus soulless, being.
Ganaroth: Did we? I didn't go outside the whole day, so I didn't really notice.
Ganaroth: Anyway, folknsuch ready to continue on? And, while this is usually not where my weak link is located, can someone prompt me about where we left last week? I have plot events in my head, but it's more like a branch plan, and I'm uncertain where ended up. -.-
Riot: Last I recall we were discussing what we were gonna do with the guy who might nuke our house
Riot: I do not recall what the final result was
Ganaroth: (As I recall, there was no particularly great result on that specifically, but the subject of Si En Kelar's security being absolutely terrible during a high profile international summit did come up, and there was at least a little discussion of ways in which the basement dungeon does and does not resemble a rune maze.)
vonel: We got out of the basment and told Rai about what had happened.
vonel: That was all.
Ganaroth: Sorry.
=^v^=: we did speculate on the nature of the place and Vul was all, "We could charge admission to an actually holy site" and Rai was all, "no"
Ganaroth: (Ok then, Unless there's something that anyone wants to say during this conversation, still, I'll probably move things along. That said, if there are any scenes that you want to happen before I skip ahead to STUFF, please say so, and we'll do that. Yeah, Patience is in favor of money, but not in favor of the general public walking in and out of her base of operations all day.)
vonel: (( can move on. ))
Ganaroth: (K)
Riot: I'm good!
Vul totally talked to people anyways!
Ra'ven even might come back at some point with that guy wanting to talk to his ghost buddy
Rai Patience Cantor sighs. "Well, now that I've been primed by the appropriate amount of insanity, I should inform you of the schedule. In three days, the first of the public forums surrounding this event, which we now suspect to an incipient pregnancy on the part of Garmera thanks to the late Ms. Tenning's notes. We can assume that, regardless of what is said, the truly powerful in each of the league of five, and perhaps beyond, have already had private meetings about how to address this issue, but a tremendous amount of policy and finance will be set over the coming days nonetheless as the second echelon responds to this maelstrom. These will range from those who are merely absurdly wealthy, to those with more specialized interests and less clear motives. We know a little more than the others, and that means that we have the opportunity to steal a march on them, and attempt to get close to the people who will want to use our services." She pauses. "Which brings me to my point. To a certain extent, at least, we will be a mercenary company, in the strictest sense. After all, I think we all understand that the goal is to undertake dangerous tasks for pay. However, there is a great deal to discuss when if comes to what KIND of mercenary company we should be, both philosophically and aesthetically. Both of those things can have enormous effects on finances. I told many of you, earlier, that I did not wish employees, but rather partners at this stage, and that means that I cannot simply chose the... level of ethics... that I would consider to be most profitable. All of you must be consulted as well, and some kind of consensus must be reached. And even more importantly, by the time those talks begin, we must decide on how we will present ourselves. We cannot be a motley gang of scruffy bandits. We will need a name, a crest, official colors, and if those could be colors you wouldn't mind WEARING on occasion all the better... everything. We will win no friends or contracts if we don't seem as though we're already seasoned professionals. The issue with the madman in the basement can probably afford to keep longer than this."
Rai Patience Cantor: "Once decided on, I can have whatever accoutrements we require created swiftly, if not cheaply, so the decision itself is really the most important part. We aren't large enough to require larger-scale bespoke manufacturing, yet..."
Vul: "I mean, red probably works? My favorate dress is red, Ra'ven wears red, Alsyne's hair is red, Lucky wears red Pretty sure Perra would look pretty as well, Not sure if there is a color that woudln't go with Elieen?" He looks to Io, "Do you like red?"
Io: "I'm known for liking many colors, red among them."
Clarity looks to Patience, then down at her own (clearly well worn but also cared for) outfit. It's clearly ornate but utilitarian in nature. A sad look flashes across her face, until Vul mentions red.
Clarity: "I like red!"
Clarity nods a little overexcitedly.
Vul ironically is not, in fact, eearing any red at all
Lucky:
Lucky: "I am aware I have a red shirt and red dye in my hair."
Rai Patience Cantor: "Hmm. I'll admit, I do have a certain fondness for red as well, not that I ever get a chance to wear it. It just doesn't go with my coloring, more's the pity."
Eileen shrugs, "Should probably pick a trim color as well."
Vul hmms, "Probably best to pick something like, popular for trim?" he looks to Patience, "I mean it's to sell something."
Lucky:
Rai Patience Cantor: "We'll want to be careful with that, quite correct Eileen." She clicks her tongue at Vul. "Trim is not merely about what is popular. Let us imagine that we have settled on red as our primary. What does it say about how we wish to present ourselves if we use black trim? What about white? Gold? Do you see what I mean?"
Vul: "I mean, gold is fancy to go with red... "
Lucky: "I mean black more as a secondary, not necessarily trim."
Vul: "I like silver more, since it's more shiny...""
Lucky tugs on the lower edge of her black leather vest.
Vul tilts his head, "What really do you expect them to hire us to do?"
Eileen: "Never been a mercenary before have you? It's gaurd work mostly, protect some thing or some one as it get's moved from one place to another, some times you get hired on to be part of an army."
Rai Patience Cantor smiles. "Why Lucky, you might be unexpectedly clever at this game. But yes, you understand. Red primary with a gold secondary denotes class and prestige. Red with white is somewhat similar, but with an intent to emphasize nobility and decorum. Red with black is a banner to the world that you wish to be seen as disciplined and deadly. Any of these personas can serve us well, but we are unfortunately allotted only one reputation."
Eileen: "You even get ired to just stand around and look scary or pretty every so often as well."
Rai Patience Cantor: "And is that the kind of organization you see yourself wanting to take part in, five years from now?"
Eileen looks at the others, "I've been doing this for some time, so that ones on the rest of you."
Rai Patience Cantor: "It's an honest question. Exactly how much peril are we willing to place ourselves in? We can take guard duty for a pittance if you wish, but we both know that skilled work pays much better."
Vul hmms, "I mean I was sorta a... not really guide, but part of a guide crew?"
Vul: "Never a mercinary really... Also in that long I wonder... I mean look how much has happened just now?"
Lucky: "Look, I got paid to find things. Not necessarily to hurt people, but that doesn't mean I haven't had to do it, or that I'm not good at it."
Vul: "I would not have suspected my current place that long ago."
Vul: "Whatever we end up doing we will need to be able to travel a bunch."
Vul:
Clarity: "I was... a soldier. Now I'm just a tracker. l'm sort of the same as Lucky. I can hurt people and do it well, but I'd rather not hurt people who don't deserve it."
Rai Patience Cantor: "If you wish, when I begin mingling it would be very easy to sell us to potential customers as an elite team capable of solving highly sensitive tasks... or a team that specializes in, say, disaster relief, as I have no doubt there will be need of that. Or one that specializes in land grabs, though I doubt you'd consent to that one." She listens to the rest of you, nodding. "So a minimum of agression is preferred... several of you have expertise with scouting and related skills. This immedietely suggests a course we might take as our "speciality," then. Or at least it suggests as much to me. Anyone care to guess what I'm thinking?"
Riot: (( brb gotta fluff the rice and put the chicken in the instant pot ))
Lucky 's eyes light up. "Treasure hunting?"
Rai Patience Cantor: (gotta have that fluffy rice.)
Rai Patience Cantor smiles. "I'd prefer the blanket term "retrieval," but yes, in the model I imagine, we would be contracted to find and retrieve specific rare, high value cargo. Now, that could be a mystic blade, a legendary gem, an ancient tome... or it could be, for instance, a lost child. Potentially even the rescue of hostages, if we feel that we have those skills available. Depending on what you want our reputation to be, we might even engage in contracted thievery. That's my idea, at any rate."
Rai Patience Cantor: "Working on challenging and novel jobs for orders of magnitude more pay than a common mercenary grunt? I can't imagine that sounds completely terrible, Eileen."
Riot: (( back ))
Rai Patience Cantor: (Welcome back! Sorry, stuff continued while you were gone. My bad...)
Rai Patience Cantor: (OH BUT WAIT.
Rai Patience Cantor: (All that stuff was just me, so we're good.)
=^v^=: (( yes just the one line ))
Riot: (( no that's fine, I figured it would ))
Vul: "I mean pay can be used to obtain goods and services..."
Eileen: "Sounds fine to me, might even have something that could help a little bit with that sort of stuff..."
Rai Patience Cantor:
Eileen: "Haven't had much of a chance to use it my self so not sure how helpful it would be."
=^v^=: (( hey, my desk has a 27". this is on a tv cabinent with a keyboard on a traytable next to a bed xP ))
Clarity: "Oh? Do you mind saying what it is? Sounds interesting!"
Rai Patience Cantor: "Hmm? Well, if would like to share, we might be able to come up with an idea or two."
Rai Patience Cantor: ( *if YOU would like to share)
Eileen nods and takes out a rolled sheet of vellum, and opens it up. Tapping on it she let's it do it's thing.
Eileen:
  Eye of Garmera - Daily
This map grants Eileen sight beyond sight.
Effect: You command the map to redraw itself, depicting the surface area in a 10-mile radius around you. The map doesn't go into precise detail, but it is accurate. It shows only aboveground terrain, not underground areas. The map displays the following features.
*: General terrain, such as mountains, rivers, and lakes.
*: Structures 5,000 square feet or larger in area.
*: Structures important for travel, such as bridges and portals.
*: Lairs of creatures that are significant threats.
*: Names or general descriptions of any of the above features, if such information is well known within the area represented by the map.
The sketch remains on the map until this power is used again.

Across the surface of the fine parchment, streaks of ink begin to flow as though from a hundred invisible brushes applying their strokes in unison. within moments, much of the city is accurately depicted. Ther usual structures are depicted, along with a number of sigils in various places where the marks go from looking like ink to looking like char; locations where the local spirits warn of danger. Amusingly enough, Nasi Manor, where you are now, appears to be nothing but a tiny smudge of pure charcoal on the page.
Vul wonders if they are a lair of a threatening creature
Vul: v.v
Lucky:
Vul: "Neat!"
Eileen: "Shouldn't be that suprising considering what we found down there."
Rai Patience Cantor: "Eileen, this ability is remarkable." She stares. "...That's not common magic. I know military men who would kill for such a thing. Do NOT show that to anyone else in the city, please. Think of how the officials might respond if they knew that a military strategist was within the walls carrying an item that can instantly reproduce a detailed map of their fortifications and street layouts."
Vul nods, "Ya, most spirits don't, you know, care that way."
Eileen nods, "Wasn't excatly plaing on it."
Eileen: "It takes a while before I can have it do that again, but until I do it'll keep this map."
Rai Patience Cantor: "Interesting. Now, Eileen, why have you chosen to show us your marvelous map?"
Riot: (( brb, last time I promise ))
Rai Patience Cantor: (np)
Eileen rolls the map back up and tucks it away, "Because it seems like it'll be usful for what your planing for us. A lot of those no name islands out there were hidden items have been stashed away arn't going to have any sort of maps made of them."
Rai Patience Cantor: "Oh, of course. You're quite correct; unless we choose to cleave to purely one or the other, we'll have to be capable of completing missions both in and away from civilization."
Eileen nods, "Plus imagine having the map redraw it's self out side and seeing some a ruin or something that no one else has found before suddenly being marked on the map. You'd want to be the first in there to see what might be had right?"
Vul: 'Or if that othrwise savfe cave has that mark on it"
Vul: "Woulda been really helpful when we crashed..."
Riot: (( back ))
Rai Patience Cantor: "Clever. If we happen upon other potential caches in the same area as our primary targets, we'll have full control of the information with that. Certainly there is no lack of ruins sticking up out of the earth on any given island."
Rai Patience Cantor: (wb!)
Rai Patience Cantor: "So, then. For those in attendance, may I take it as given that we have a provisional consensus to contracted treasure hunting and rescue, thievery to be discussed later, as our primary service? I will of course bring what we speak of here to the others, and we'll have a larger meeting with everyone later, but I find it useful to work on these things ahead of time."
Lucky: "Works for me. Does that mean we get to wear red and black? Did we decide on trim?"
Vul seems almost cagey about being the one to agree
=^v^=: (( or, you know, looking less and less like he wants to be the one saying so ))
Clarity: "Sure. I like the rescue part, at least. And I'm partial to the red and black too. But obviously the group consensus matters."
Eileen nods
You whisper to Ganaroth: since Vul's real answer of "where do you see yourself in 5 years" is "far from here, doing something else likely." since he sorta gave up putting down roots for power
Rai Patience Cantor whispers: I understand.
Rai Patience Cantor: "If we do use red and black, we should probably be careful of our symbols and naming, though. Black and Red, with very little creativity behind it, are most often associated with darkness and blood. Redeeming those colors to use for a more friendly operation could be an interesting challenge. And remember that those things will also affect others' perception of us and what we do, which will intend influence what we have the oppportunity to do. Does anyone have an idea for a name, or iconography?"
Vul: "Ya a lot of the devils use red and black, don't they?"
Vul: "I mean we could use a fox, since they are tricky and swift and there isn't a devil fox to my knolwedge, plus are cute sometimes..."
Clarity: "We don't have to use red and black... Maybe red and gray? Would that give off a serious enough but slightly less threatening... um, aura?"
Rai Patience Cantor:
Lucky:
=^v^=: (( vul 100% thinks foxes are the best ))
Rai Patience Cantor: (I don't actually have a problem with it, I just knew it was coming, that's all.)
Riot: (( it did not surprise me one bit lol ))
=^v^=: (( ra'ven would not go with foxes ))
=^v^=: (( I mean Vul thinks dragons are almost as best,, but fears Io would resent being a mascot ))
Riot:
=^v^=: (( but not a mascot ))
Rai Patience Cantor: "It's used by some who fight devils also..." She frowns. "...though I'm having a little trouble remembering whom, exactly. Regardless, gray is an excellent compromise, and there are many places on an outfit for a black accent or two."
Rai Patience Cantor: ((Symbol or Mascot... it would kind depend on how you pitched it to them the first time, lol.))
Vul: "I mean a dragon would work to but they are more strong and magestic right? We are doing quick things..."
=^v^=: (( the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dragon also works ))
Rai Patience Cantor: (Snrk.)
Vul looks to Io with the dragon thing
Io: "While I am always happy to be revered in such a way, I must concede that the form of a great dragon not does not express subtlety. Not that dragons cannot be subtle, but they are rarely rearing up to the sky, wings spread, while they do so. I must reluctantly vote against it, for the purpose of this exercise."
Vul nods, "It's a good symbol, just not for what we are doing right?"
Clarity breathes a quiet sigh of relief
Vul: "It made me sad when they had a dragon symbol corrier service."
Vul: "They did not, in fact, have a dragon to corrier things."
Vul radiates that he checked
Rai Patience Cantor: "Really, a red fox is an excellent choice if we want to emphasize our cleverness and finesse, which we should be promoting with this direction. I can't think of a good reason to say no to it, unless someone else has an idea. And we will require a name as well. Eventually we'll need more, but nobody is going to ask for our motto in old Adhikhaari within the next few days."
=^v^=: (( n before our motto is "Not much what's a motto with you?" in old adhikhaari ))
Vul nods, "It's not even me, since I'm a white fox."
Io: "Unless that dragon was charging a truly monstrous sum for that work, I would be ashamed of any who did. My people were made for more glorious things."
Vul: "I mean it's not a terible job for people watching, so I did check."
Vul tilts his head, "Dragons do that right?"
Rai Patience Cantor: "Red and gray and black... foxes..." She writes her notes down in front of her; rather more words than she's actually saying out loud.
Io: "Of course they do. Mind, it doesn't always end well for the one being watched."
Riot: (( like, how long of a name are we talking? One word? Two or three? I've literally never been involved in party naming before (if that's what you'd consider it, anyway) ))
=^v^=: (( precident says 'lol we have never named a party ever except back when someone ironicaly did it because of a field on the character sheet' ))
Riot: (( lmao gotcha ))
vonel: (( Was going to say. ))
=^v^=: (( and it was 'the big ballers' so not a great thing ))
Io: (I rarely have either, actually. Most of the players I've worked with have just never bothered naming the party, and honestly there wasn't a compelling reason to do so. But since this plot currently involves literally starting a company, I think a name is called for.)
Riot: (( so it's not really the party then and more the company that we are partners in ))
vonel: (( yeah ))
=^v^=: (( ya mercenary company can't just be 'unnamed mercinary company' cause that's too irronic capitalist ))
Io: (Essentially, although they're sorta one and the same for the moment. Patience has ideas for future expansion though, of course.)
=^v^=:
Lucky waves her hands around. "I dunno. Deliverence, Inc? Works for the rescue and the treasure retrieval aspect? And I guess the thievery, too, if you want to split hairs. Like I said, I'm bad at names."
Io: (War Crime Solutions: You've tried the rest, now try the oh my god it's in my eyes, I can feel my optic nerves melting!)
Riot: (( lmfao ))
Riot: (( my SA forums name for a long time was War Crime Syndicat, with a profile picture of a cat in a general's outfit ))
Io: Wooo!
Io:
Riot: (( lol ))
=^v^=: (( thugs4less ))
Io: Still love that character. I find the whole "League of Extraordinarily Racist Gentlemen" gag to be a lot less funny then I did back in 2005, though.
Io: (Anyway, sorry for going off on that tangent. Back to playing.)
Vul: "I mean you can just go like 'Red Fox Consultations' or the like, since it leaves precisly what we are doing slightly vague?"
Vul frowns
Vul: "If not for hiding the fact, 'Wolf's Eye Aquisitions" has a ring to it? Ra'ven probably would like that..."
=^v^=: (( I'm making a giant assumption in that the term 'wolf's eye' is used non-literally more then literally in a world where that's the primary source of light ))
=^v^=: (( so someone wouldn't find it strange for that to be attached to a thing that isn't in the shape of a wolf ))
Rai Patience Cantor: "Deliverance....Not bad. A name that works on multiple levels. Considering the colors, probably best to treat it seriously, rather than going for something tongue-in-cheek, when it comes to the symbol. "Red Fox Consultations, ironically, actually gives more leeway for humor and whimsy. As I'm sure you're aware, I'm not a whimsical person. But in this case, both dignity and the appearance of whimsy are equally effective."
=^v^=: (( the in-universe equilivant to like, 'daystar' for the sun ))
Rai Patience Cantor: (Akaiku, that interpretation seems reasonable. Actually, a directional light source being colloquially called a "wolf's eye" instead of, like, a "searchlight" would make a lot of sense.)
Rai Patience Cantor: "Regardless, thank you very much for your input. In the larger meeting, we'll discuss this in more detail, but for now I think we've an idea about who we're going to be. And, interestingly enough, it gives me an idea about what kind of job we could lobby for. You said before that people are being posessed, or some such by Iron Empire soldiers? And even that some of them can be turned on and off, from one person to the other? We already know that the young woman you rescued came from a wealthy family. I imagine that there must be more like her, and more parents that would very willingly pay to have their children saved, and this threat cut off, most especially once word spreads of the details. Even if nothing more lucrative immediately presents itself, I'm sure that I can convince someone that this is a job worth paying for."
Eileen: "Not having an army of sleeper agents in your main city is always a good thing."
Clarity: "I'm always happy to root out Iron."
Vul: "Probababy would be good to try to figure out exactly why as well..." He sighs, "The hostage taking bit of it is annoying."
Rai Patience Cantor: "Really, if anyone in the city could potentially turn into an Iron and harm someone else or themselves, what we're really dealing with is a very large scale hostage scenario, isn't it? An entire state taken captive, and demanding a much more clever solution than simply charging in and hoping that everyone you hit in the end was one of the villains."
Rai Patience Cantor: "Eileen, I would appreciate it if you would help identify the necessary skills that an operation like this might require... and while it galls me to ask, I know that you're more than capable of the task as well, Clarity. I can handle the money and legalities, but we'll need real expertise when it comes to dividing us up for operations. That said, I turn nobody's contributions aside." ((Like last week, I think I'd like to end a bit early. I'm willing to predict that by the next time we play, I'll be back to full speed, though.))
Rai Patience Cantor: "In fact, Lucky, I'm quite certain you once told me that you've taken on the odd bit of investigative work in the past. You should consult with them as well."
Rai Patience Cantor: (sorry, had to put that line in)
Riot: (( No worries! I have a very long day in the heat again tomorrow so ))
Rai Patience Cantor: Bleh.
vonel: (( No problems ))
vonel: (( yeah sucks getting stuck out there in the heat like that ))
Lucky: "I can always see if Gillert can point me in the right direction."
Lucky: "Might know if anyone I know is in the city, knows anything."
Rai Patience Cantor: ((Why do we have to live on a world that orbits a GIANT BALL OF FIRE?))
Clarity looks like she's going to get overexcited again, but clearly forces it back down and just nods in response, despite the barb in Patience's statement.
vonel: (( Giant ball of fire not so bad, we kind of fucked everything up to make it seem bad. ))
Rai Patience Cantor: (You're not wrong. Gnight!)
Riot: (( true ))
vonel: (( Just remember, we are still in the middle of an Ice Age. ))
Riot: (( Okay, gnight all! ))
=^v^=: (( see, thats why we are in superior rp world ))
=^v^=: (( orbits a GIANT WOLF ))
=^v^=: (( also I guess a doomstorm ))
Riot: lol
vonel: Night all, see ya next week.
vonel is disconnected.
Riot is disconnected.
